To receive a full-body massage, simply select any service of 1 hour and upwards. We require a minimum of 1 hour to provide an adequate full-body massage; if you would like us to focus on a specific area, then perhaps you may find better value from 30-minute sessions.

No, all of our therapists are suitably exempt from needing a special treatment license (under Section 4 of the London Local Authorities Act 1991). Similarly, physiotherapists, chiropodists, chiropractors, and osteopaths are also exempt under this act.

We have strict recruiting requirements; we only employ recognised therapists who are registered with a professional body set out to protect the public's health by ensuring high standards in both training and practice. You won't find this in average massage spas.

This is why you will find that our treatments can be covered by many health cash plans and private health insurance.

You will find us on Station Lane in Hornchurch town centre, between Frankies Wine Bar and Lloyds Bank.

The nearest bus stop is Hornchurch Town Centre (1 minute walk) and the nearest station is Hornchurch (10 minute walk).

Like when choosing other healthcare professionals, it's important to be conscious consumers when selecting a massage therapist. Read recent reviews and find reputable establishments.

Don't be afraid to ask a potential massage therapist questions such as:

Are you licensed, certified, or registered?

What is your training and experience?

What's the cost, and does health insurance cover you?

How many massage therapy sessions do you think I'll need?

Here at Motion Remedy, we can assure you that all the above questions can be answered to your satisfaction by whichever therapist you decide to choose. If you are suffering from mobility issues due to chronic pain or injuries, then we will refer you to our sports therapists.

  • When you arrive you will be greeted by your therapist, you will then be given a consultation form to briefly to fill out.
  • Afterwards, your therapist will do a postural analysis and ask you about any areas of pain or any muscle that requires more focused attention.
  • Then, you will be given the treatment room to undress in privacy.
  • Once you are ready, your therapist will enter the room and begin by warming your muscles with light compressions.
  • Then the therapist incorporates your chosen or recommended massage technique to begin alleviating the pain.
  • After the massage, your therapist discusses a self-care plan and recommends follow-up treatments, if necessary.

We actually offer very competitive prices by London standards, but there are a number of reasons why our prices may seem high compared to local competitors.

1. Customer value

We care about our clients and their health; we will never provide treatment if it poses a risk to the individual. We will never sell you a service that we are not trained or qualified to provide or claim to be able to provide something but give you something else. For instance, we provide sports massage, but only through our qualified sports therapists who has been trained and understand the anatomy of soft tissue.

2. Encouraging responsible behaviour

We provide professional services only. We are not looking to draw you in with the cheapest price and then offer you "extras" during your treatment. We do not condone this sort of behaviour. If that is what you're looking for then you're not welcome here, please seek somewhere else.

3. Ethical employer

We are a family-run business that truly believes a happy workforce provides the best services. We do not allow our therapists to provide back to back treatments, giving them time to rest in between each appointment as well as an adequate break during their shift. Being a sports/massage therapist can be challenging physical work, and we understand that a tired therapist cannot possibly provide quality treatment. We will not maximise our bookings at the expense of staff welfare. Here at Motion Remedy, we care about quality, not quantity.
